  1. Review the guidance and rules on this page thoroughly. Failure to do so may attract a judging penalty.
  2. Decide which category you wish to enter by visiting our categories page.
  3. Ensure you allow enough time for any internal or client sign off.
  4. Complete the entry offline and convert to PDF format. You can use the optional entry templates.
  5. Your written entry must be no more than the equivalent of two sides of A4 in a minimum of 8-point type, and must be saved as a PDF. The file size must not exceed 6MB.
  6. All entries and supporting evidence must be submitted in English.
  7. Entries which do not adhere to these rules will automatically face a point deduction from the judges.
  8. The completed entry may be accompanied if desired by a single piece of supporting evidence if you feel it adds value to your entry. This must be maximum of two A4 pages and written in English.
  9. If part of your entry contains video, host the video online using a service such as Vimeo, Youtube, Dropbox or your own server, and include the URL in your executive summary along with password if access is protected.

    Who Can Enter?

The awards are open to advertisers, publishers, agencies, networks (both regular and CPA), technology providers, and individuals who operate in the performance marketing sector. Entries may be made directly by the company or via an authorised agent, such as their network, agency or PR. Entries may be submitted for multiple categories subject to an additional entry fee. Each submission, however, must be tailored to fit the category.

Submissions should relate to activity within Europe and the eligibility period of 1st January 2015–22nd April 2016.

The entry must generate revenue based on a performance metric. Hybrid or tenancy campaigns can be entered on condition that there is some CPA/performance-based commission attached.

    Withdrawing an Entry

An entry may be withdrawn for any reason up until 06 May, 2016 upon written request. However, the entry fee is non-refundable.

    Commercial Confidence

For your entry to be fully assessed it is extremely important that you provide as much detail about your performance as possible. In particular, figures relating to the ROI of your activity / campaign. Greater transparency with the judges will enable them to score you fairly.

All judges sign a non-disclosure agreement before participating and judges will not be involved in any categories where a commercial conflict could arise. We will use snippets and summaries from entries for publication in the winners' guide, which is published after the event. If you prefer this not to occur, it's essential that any information that is commercially sensitive be clearly marked as ‘Judges' eyes only’.

If you have any questions regarding commercial confidence, please call the chair of the judges, Matthew Wood, on +44 117 203 3009.

It's a really good chance to showcase best practice and challenge things, challenge the status quo a little bit and demonstrate that to our peers.”

The Performance Marketing Awards have played a key role in developing our industry and increasing its visibility, not only within the UK market but also across Europe. The event offers a great opportunity to reward the highly creative and strategic work that we as an industry know exists within, but also raises awareness to those outside of the marketplace of the rich and diverse opportunities that performance marketing has to offer.”
